Vantaggi
The culture here is probably the biggest draw. This is the first place where I've worked that the company actually operates by it's values. I've worked at plenty of places where they talk about vision and mission, but by your second month in you've already forgotten what they are. Here, you talk about them every day, in every meeting, and in each interaction.
I enjoy working with my team. It's an environment that fosters innovation and where I am encouraged to bring new ideas to the table. I go home at the end of the day feeling like my work is actually making an impact. I feel appreciated.
The leadership is great, the pay is competitive, and there are plenty of advancement opportunities. I can see myself building a career here.
Svantaggi
I really only have two qualms. One is the constant change in response to industry changes, which can be really frustrating at times. Although I think it's fair to say that this can be attributed to the solar industry as a whole, and not just Verengo. Secondly, we still operate like a start up in many aspects, and at times that too can be frustrating. The company has grown so much over such a short period of time, you can't help but feel like you're running at times with no end in sight.
Overall, I think it just comes down to a culture fit. If you aren't an entrepreneurial type that thrives in constantly changing environments, working here will drive you crazy.
