Vantaggi

A lot of super talented, smart, dedicated, personable employees across the board: medical providers, RDs, nursing, clinicians, front-line staff. Unfortunately, they realize quickly how grossly disorganized and mismanaged the company is overall, and they leave within a year or less.

Svantaggi

Mismanaged, lack of respect for certain disciplines, poor interdisciplinary teamwork, financially unstable (always wonder when/if your paycheck will bounce), lack of evidenced based policies and procedures. Patients dictate what staff eat and wear, no lie. High high turnover rate, most disciplines.

Vantaggi

The work itself is very rewarding when I'm involved in patient care. I enjoy many of my colleagues who are roles at the same level I am (the other dietitians and therapists). It's a good learning experience, seems like working in inpatient or residential is required to get a foot in the door in outpatient. I enjoy working with adults vs. adolescents so the patient population is ideal. From what I hear, the "merge" with the Emily Program was a very positive thing because it sounds like they saved Veritas from being a sinking ship.

Svantaggi

Management is belittling all around. It's the norm for my supervisor to talk poorly about other dietitians to me, so I know that's how she's talking about me to others. Inconsistency is the norm - sometimes I feel like I'm doing well and I'm on good terms with the company and then all of sudden I feel like I'm not. They definitely have a pattern of nit-picking but also expecting you to understand how to do everything from day 1 before you really get the chance to "drink the Veritas juice."
