It is an interesting opportunity in that every team member has an opportunity to succeed as well as work in tandem for success. The quality of the products and services are excellent. Employees are encouraged to understand all new services and technology in order to become the best possible advocate. The training reinforces the importance of the brand as well as the belief it is possible to sale to anyone with the right questions and guidance. Cellco offers a great 401k program, great health care and tuition reimbursement. The training and orientation is excellent.

The downsides are contingent on where you are in terms of your life. If you have a growing family, the needs of the business are primarily on the weekend and evening hours. This can put a strain on family responsibilities as well as participation in life's events. it is important to note commissions can be a pressure driver in this business. If you are in a location where foot traffic is low, there is a greater chance of employee losing their unity as each individual works to attain his or her goal. The team effort can be lost and it is incumbent upon managers to foster team work.

Compensation is competitive but you will work very hard for it. Culture is excellent and exhibited and practiced from the top down. Benefits are excellent and cost reasonable. 401k match and profit sharing. Lots of training and professional development opportunities. Can advance if you're willing to relocate.

Company is trying to transform into what it wants to be beyond a wireless carrier (cloud?, security?, telematics?, wholesaler?, etc) and is struggling with a vision, resources, and org structure to make it a reality. Several re-organizations over last few years so job security has frequently been a question. Often delayed response to competitors caused by management's concern that acting would result in not meeting Wall Street expectations. Not the "happiest" place to work because no result is ever good enough and successes aren't celebrated because the focus is always on the next weekly/monthly/quarterly goal.
