This is hard to write, as I have been a long-time employee through many leadership teams and strategic directions.
This leadership team (C-level) makes poor decisions which have massive impact on the company - for example, not utilizing history (H1N1, etc.) to help inform inventory decisioning for COVID-19. Now we are screwed - way too much inventory and company is at risk. The management team will not listen to reason, and also implemented a "butts in seats" policy during a global pandemic - which also included in house safety precautions such as cardboard walls and expired sanitizer and IPA.
A lot of people got COVID due to these archaic policies.
About two years ago, the company was reorganized - removing any level of diversity of thought and or experience from the leadership team.
Everyone on the C-team were connected to the same prior company and are trying things in business that likely worked in the early 1990's.
There is no vision, no care - it's a shadow of what it used to be.
Also, women and minorities were removed from leadership positions and/or exited the company. This is not a safe space for anyone who is ethical and respects/values diversity. There is the token HR female leader, but that's about it.
Pay is bare minimum, and not competitive. Another reason for the issues with employee retention.
