Often a lot of down time

Good medical, stock investments, 401K w/ company matching. Three weeks vacation annually. The company's doors are still open.

Pay, pay, pay. There is no scale pay for any position. If someone likes you, and they can get you more money, you get more money. If they don't they make it very difficult for you to get promoted or get good pay. The company has laid off some key people and those left are over worked, under paid and lacking moral. IT support is slow because they are over worked as well with a new system that goes down everyday.
