Where to begin? • Contractor hiring policy so they don't pay taxes or provide benefits • Pay is extremely, insultingly low (Ex: $15 p/h for technical support with back-end development experience) • Exploitation of contractors • Violation of contractor laws (Ex: You don't set your own hours.) • No benefits • No professional development • No opportunities for career advancement • Lies about the company (Ex: The owners will tell you that the company has grown "400% quarter upon quarter" except there's no evidence.) • Extremely stingy (They will not spend money on ANYTHING.) • High turnover • Discrimination against older candidates (The owners don't want to pay higher hourly rates for the experience and believe older candidates lack flexibility, tech proficiency, and stamina.) • Micromanagement • Disrespectful and deceptive to everyone • Fictitious positive reviews on social media • Monthly, not bi-weekly, pay

The company has real set of talented people. They will try to help and it is a really good place to work for especially for beginners or people who want to learn something. I worked there as a Software Development Intern and it was a good experience.

They really have a huge drawbacks: 1. Firstly they pose a huge pressure on the employees as they are a startup. 2. The HR never has enough time to even talk to employees in the appointment schedule. 3. They always try to pay as much less as possible to their employees and also if not asked properly they will never pay you. 4. When I have resigned due to financial problems as the company was not paying me anything, none of the people or the company leads have even acknowledged me or sent a reply mail for the resignation mail. What I don't understand is how can the company people have no time even for their employees who work for them, which is supposed to be their priority (even though the clients are the first).
