I have been into sales for nearly for 8 years and throughout my career, I contributed for enterprise customers. I have been either given territory or technology or vertical to focus and guided to drive sales cycle to win customer. it is pretty interesting to see that organization is training individual to master practical challenges associated with Industry and line of business to engage customers instead of its product and service offering. I have seen some initial success in last three months, hoping it would be better; it is bit different but I am liking it.
