Vision & 2 pairs of glasses covered 100%. Long & short term company paid for insurance. Commission is decent if you know the patients needs well enough to get them to buy the recommended products.

Below industry average base pay. No percentage based raises, only a few cents once a year. Goals are based on the stores performance from the previous year & projection. Which means if you had a bigger staff the previous year and now only have 2 employees you are still expected to do the work of the previous staff plus more which is unrealistic. You CAN be written up for not reaching these goals. 3 write ups & you are gone. Management is usually bad & will lie to the TD to make others look incompetent. Lots of Dr's remakes who also try to place blame on the dispenser in front of patient. Extremely rude & degrading. Corporate favors high sellers.

Customer satisfaction is not the priority. Case in point: Telehealth exams. Telehealth exams are a nightmare for the staff, and more importantly, for the patients. The company schedules one every 20 minutes, but each telehealth exam takes 45 minutes to complete, and that's if everything goes well, which is extraordinarily rare. Way too often, there is a doctor shortage, or electronic issue, resulting in exams taking over an hour. As a result, some patients end up waiting two and a half hours for an eye exam, which is not fair to them. Also, the clinical specialists that work the front desk can be rude and short to patients, which can intimidate them, and numerous attempts at correcting them have been scorned. There's not really anything else management can do about it, since they are protected by the union that opticians and clinical specialists are required to be in
