For some, Visma is the greatest place to work in the nordics, even the world. But make sure you do your research and be absolutely sure that you join one of the favoured companies in the Visma federation. That being said, Visma is filled with a lot of great people that make the company successful.

This depends on which Visma company you work at and how much in favour that peculiar company is with top level management. If you end up working in one that is construed as sidelined you can expect mediocre to low pay, low engagement, a host of capacity issues and a whole lot of frustration. In Visma, you will sooner or later be aware of the politics that occur behind the scenes and how they seem to decide where the priorities are shifted. There can be a shift on the day that will relegate your company to the sidelines due to a new strategy or major decision from above. There has been a few sketchy decisions made and good, loyal and competent people have been forced to leave on short notice. If you plan to accept a position in Visma, i highly suggest you do your research, get organized and join a union beforehand.
