- Salary not discussed when joining and not competitive - Job title was mis-advertised - Upper management deceitful - Promises of change in the role for support which never happened - Promises of updates to the booking system which again never came (despite the size of the team tripling in size) - Management degrading hosts that work on site - Management once requested I attempt to blackmail a host that was feeling unwell to work a shift - Management and a colleague complaining about another colleague in front of me on my third day which I found highly inappropriate in the action and the language used - Was advised it would be a remote role but then forced to come into the office everyday - Was told I would work one weekend a month which changed to working multiple weekends in a row - Extreme pressure to contact hirers to cancel bookings last minute multiple times a day, normally down to incompetent regional managers (handful of regionals were helpful, others very lazy and the customer care team were then left with the burden) - No mental health support offered, even when personal concerns raised, only false promises of "it will get better one day" - One director was also very passive-aggresive and very had to work with - Lack of communication internally with no attempts to make it better - High amount of manual tasks due to again failures in the booking engine, management would reiterate how sorry they were but then pile more manual work (and micro-management) - The company will really run you into the ground if you try to be good at your job, the company is perfect for you if you want to do the bear minimum and don't really care
