- Managers have no leadership qualities - Consumer KPIs have not been met but those close to the CEO still get promoted even though they miss targets - Data is skewed so those in charge still keep their jobs - HODs and Execs have been at company too long and are pale stale males - Company hasn't adapted to changing times and severely behind in the tech world (CX, UX and Ai has not been considered meanwhile competitors are ahead in these industries) - People are promoted based on social status not on effectiveness, skills, experience or qualifications - Managers don't own up to their mistakes - No performance reviews so people can't improve - Pay is below average - Managers have no empathy and make everyone the butt of their jokes - No strategic decision making in place. Decisions are made based on what makes the execs look good - Company is not customer focused (This is 2019... successful companies are customer focused companies who focus on the CX) - Marketing uses age-old advertising tactics
