A classic company where departments are managed by individuals who lack even basic management or leadership skills. They hold managerial positions simply because they've been with the company for 10 or 15 years and have built strong relationships with upper management. If you want annual raises or a chance at promotion, it's less about performance and more about maintaining good relationships with them. Some employees are burdened with huge workloads while others do very little - and of course, this is the result of poor management.
