Okay place to work - Recensione dipendente - Managed Services presso Voonami

Pretty frustrated with the President of the company, Ben. Feel like he handled things poorly most of the time. He had me fly to Dallas Texas to help one of our customers move offices and only gave me a day and a half to do the whole thing from start to finish. The new building had zero wiring or anything prepped for IT stuff. I worked through most of the night and got everything done and when I got back didn’t get a single “thank you” or “good job” or “hey thanks for getting that done so quickly and efficiently. Here’s a small bonus to show you we appreciate that!” Nothing. Literally, nothing. When I was asked by the owners brother (who understood what that project entailed) he responded to me saying “how did you get that done in just a day and a half? They should’ve given you at least 3 days minimum!” That’s just one example. Same thing as my last day. I put my two weeks notice in and the next day Ben told me that he just wanted me to finish the project I was on and then Voonami wanted me to leave. He told me “let’s make Wednesday your last day” which was two days away. Again was working on a big project for one of our customers. My last day at Voonami I literally worked for 22 hours straight and barely had enough time to make it to my first day at my new job. Again, zero appreciation. No “hey thank you again for getting that done before you left. We appreciate you having to work overtime and following through to completing it.” Ben really had zero appreciation for his employees. Or at least I never heard it come out of his mouth.
