Vantaggi
- Closest thing to EMS -Somewhat flexible with availability
Svantaggi
- Unprofessional & Accountability of the company is poor on a daily basis - Unorganized (going to pick up a patient and no patient there, or patient has already left by other means) - Lack of consideration for employee safety (promised winter tires by supervisor's supervisor and were given all-season tires during the worst part of winter) - Embarrassingly low pay ($12/hr), no overtime until over 44 hrs in a week or 88 hrs in a two week period - Trucks are in constant need of maintenance, company wouldn't fix exhaust leak, exhaust was knowingly being fed into the cabin for the attendants and patient to breath - Had experience with doors flying open while driving - Force employees to do unsafe work (lift heavy patients, drive in unsafe weather conditions), use their power over you if you do not comply, or harass you with incident reports - With the job there is the risk of Patients passing on, lack of consideration for employee's state of mind thereafter - Starting in debt $450 if you need EMR training, plus paying for uniforms ($75 every 750 hrs for uniform allowance) - Not given breaks somedays until 8+ hrs into shift - Nothing good to say about this company - Get away with everything due to the unregulated industry
