Vuba is a great place to work with plenty of chances for internal progression and promotion! I started as an apprentice but have progressed to the point of being given a permanent contract and am now running the internal IT department. This allows me to work with everyone at the company as well as travel to our different sites up and down the country when I need to. The people at Vuba are probably the best part! Everyone is very support and friendly, even management who are always open to ideas on how we can improve the business and the way we work. This leads to large scale projects taking place that you know have full support of management! My favorite moments from Vuba have been implementing our new IT systems such as our modern company network at our HQ and beginning the project for us to become a pure Microsoft Environment which has me slowly enrolling all device in Mobile Device Management and setting up our Internal Intranet. If you're looking for somewhere to get stuck in and work hard to visibly see improvement in a business - Vuba is the place for you! Bonus Pros are Foodie Friday's where the company pay for lunch on the last Friday of the month and Life Admin where you can take 2 hours a month to do Life Admin outside of work

Work arrangements and flexibility agreed during hiring often change without discussion, which many employees have experienced. There is little effort to accommodate personal circumstances, creating unnecessary tension. Project information is not always shared openly, with certain “in-groups” having access to updates and opportunities. This creates silos, discourages collaboration, and leads to an overly competitive environment where teamwork is secondary to individual recognition. Meetings and critical updates are sometimes arranged without including all relevant team members, which disrupts progress and causes confusion. Recruitment for similar roles has been advertised while existing employees await clarity on their own contracts, which undermines job security. Management’s language and tone can be unprofessional at times, which impacts morale. Essential tools and information can be restricted without reason, making it harder to carry out core responsibilities. There is no structured training; employees are expected to arrange this themselves, often with little support. Promised bonuses or incentives rarely materialize, and HR seems focused on protecting the company rather than the employee experience.
