Vantaggi
There are really no Pros for this company except that you will be getting a paycheck. That is it.
Svantaggi
I worked here for one year in the early 2000s, and it was one of the worst job experiences I’ve had. The hours were long, the working conditions were terrible, and at the time, they offered zero benefits.
Their website is completely misleading. They claim to have a high-tech facility—this is absolutely false. Everything is outdated and made in-house because they refuse to invest in modern equipment. The CNC lathes were old, and they were still using tracers—technology from the 1960s. The shop was always filled with dirt, and it was nearly impossible to keep anything clean. Management didn’t seem to understand that the constant dust and heat were actively damaging the CNC equipment.
The overhead crane was reportedly built in-house as well, and like everything else, it was in poor shape. Maintenance was bare minimum—just enough to keep things barely running. The person assembling rolls for the mill stands had to work outside, on a slab of concrete, exposed to extreme heat, cold, and even rain. There was no climate control for anyone outside the main office.
I had to fix my own air conditioning just to stay cool in my office, which was located inside the machine shop—a structure made entirely of corrugated metal sheets. It had a tin roof, which meant freezing cold in winter and stifling heat in summer.
The rolling mill itself was an old German model from the 1950s—I saw the original schematics. Breakdowns were constant, and you were expected to make it work, no matter the situation. That meant working long hours, weekends, and even holidays.
The entire plant was dirty, outdated, and severely neglected. It’s clear the company has not learned or improved over the years. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a career. It’s just not worth it.
