- company does not know what it wants to be - c-suite completely disconnected from day to day business - separate LOB's but try to act as one but no leadership - engineering and product has no process, zero Agile practices - No prioritization model and scope creep - engineering acts on their own as there is no PMO organization - no accountability for engineering as they do not have the ability to measure their output - trying to act like a fintech company, but has too much underlying tech debt and no leadership to remediate in value add for clients - too many cooks deciding what to do and not enough cooks to actually do the engineering work - strong-headed engineering leadership that wont come to the table and just deliver their requirements with no regard for client or market demand - internal HR investigations into engineering leadership that lead to no changes and only whistleblowers being chastized - HR is outsourced to Brazil -main company variable is cost of gas/diesel, unable to be monetized outside of an uncontrollable variable
