Svantaggi
- Was once a place that cared if you had a family and would try to work around that with you - Most managers now only care about hitting targets, cutting more hours and working you until you're forced to take stress leave. - Unfortunately, if you're over the age of 18 then don't bother applying or staying; you cost too much and will only receive the minimum shifts required by law. - I've never seen so many employees in tears due to having to work so hard due to lack of staff. Customers get frustrated they have to wait so long (which is understandable) and take it out on us. Most of these kids are 15-18. Employees are begging for hours to pay their rent but Woolworths refuses to staff more than the bare minimum anymore. - Can't call in sick unless you're on your deathbed. If you do, your manager won't be allowed to replace your shift making all other team members have to work harder. Your manager gets mad at you for this and so do your team mates. - Everyone I have seen that have injured themselves at work haven't received compensation except 1 girl and that took 11 months of fighting and pain. -I have worked at several different Woolworth's across the Hunter and they're all the same. A lot are worse than this but every single one is at this baseline
