Positive working environment and frequent engagement from leaders in leading the team. Helpful teammates overall, at least for the dept I’m in.

Svantaggi

The workload sometimes can be quite overwhelming, especially when there’s a need to backup another colleague’s workload while colleague’s on leave. Occasional overtime is common. But I guess it commensurates with the pay, you’ll earn for your work output.

When I first started in 2024, it was great, all my team members were great to work with, and provided a lot of help and support, and helped get me acclimated to the specifics of the job.

Once there was a change in leadership, the work life balance took a nose dive, work loads became unbearable. I watched many people get laid off, and being given vague explanations, and communication and project outlines went down hill. If someone is doing something that needs to change to improve performance or processes, they are not told until months later and they let it build, and management will say that they are going to help, and will find resources to help, but then they dont. And when you have 1 on 1s and you tell management what you would like to do while at the company, it feels like it isn't taken seriously, and you feel like a broken gear with no direction.
