Employees of rail equipment suppliers Faiveley Transport S.A. (and Knorr-Bremse, and Wabtec, which now owns Faiveley) have filed suit in Maryland and Pennsylvania federal court over an alleged long-running agreement between the rivals not to poach each other’s workers, after the U.S. Department of Justice reached a settlement with the companies in May 2018. A proposed class of current and former Faiveley employees (and Wabtec and Knorr-Bremse), filed their complaint in April and May 2018 over no-poach agreements that were in place from 2009 until 2016.

Current and former employees may be able to recover lost wages and benefits brought upon by Faiveley, Wabtec and Knorr-Bremse conspiracy to "no poach" each other's employees, thereby limiting wages and depressing future employment prospects.
