Vantaggi
Cool people. A generally fun environment.
Svantaggi
A lot. You're not going to really go anywhere because the tech stack seems stuck in, say, 2012. Look at the client app - see it runs in scaled mode and that's likely the best way to describe the technology. "Dated." And no one really cares. If you haven't learned anything new in the last decade and want to deal with a broken system that cannot possibly scale and crashes on the daily because no one cares enough to pay technical debt - this is likely your spot. And if you want to show what is possibly the ugliest UI on your CV. This is not a place that cares about technology. Your only challenge as a developer will be fixing things that are horribly broken or finding yourself in terrible design patterns you'll hate yourself for following because you have to. If you want to fix them, it won't happen. Beyond that; you have to pay to park on the Sunset Strip. The pay is below market standard. The equity offered is practically nothing. The office layout is a sad joke and you'd be lucky to have a decent chair - which someone will probably steal. Technologically; Wag is probably the saddest company I've ever seen. Considering every other startup in LA; there's pretty much no reason to even consider this joint unless you're at your wit's end.
