Looking at the nearly 3 years that I have been working for Warburtons, I can say that we went through good times and challenging times, as every business, but I have never ever felt alone. I had the appropriate level of support from all the teams around me, and it was not one day that pass through that I haven't been asked "How are you doing today? Is there anything that you need support or help with? If you do, come and see me!". I would say that having a great team and the people around you make all the difference in the world in enjoying your job and coming at work each day with a positive attitude, and smile. I will not say that we don't have challenges and I haven't had challenges of my own, as that would be far from the truth , but again having the appropriate support, will ease transitioning those times. The best element for me are the people I work with. Second best, I would say that the company is family orientated, and I only recently saw that. As an expectant mom, I was given all the time required to attend all the appointments, and I ve never been asked to give any time back, or work extra hours, or even questioned on the time I left the office. Thirdly, you are valued and you do not feel like another payroll number. Your voice is heard, and your opinions valued, which is hard to find these days in the current society. Fourthly, that would be the investment in people. When I joined the company was during COVID and I was still a MSc student and needed some time in particular days and times of the week to be able to attend classes, and my manager made that possible. Since then, I have completed 2 more courses, fully founded by the company, and I am currently still undergoing the third one. Last but not the least, the payment and the benefits that come with working for Warburtons are great.

Well, as I am still here and planning to return after the maternity leave, I am not sure what I can list as cons. I would say that being a large bakery, there are a lot of projects going on at site, and on occasions there are difficult to give all of them the same focus. Also, as the company is always looking to improve, there is the element of constant change, and if you are a person that looks for routine in your life, I would say Warburtons would be challenging.
