During my brief time at the W, which lasted approximately a year, my initial impression was positive as the atmosphere appeared friendly and optimistic. However, as time progressed, I discovered that appearances can be deceiving. Despite my substantial experience, I found myself consistently treated as though I were in an entry-level position. Unfortunately, this issue seemed to stem from the COO's tendency to involve herself in every aspect of the company. Her management style favored those who flattered her the most, rather than recognizing merit and skills. The feedback I received was seldom constructive and often revolved around the disheartening phrase, "I'm not wowed." Moreover, during meetings, the COO would leave her door wide open, disregarding the impact it had on the rest of the team and the confidentiality of discussions.
