The work being done is vital to help business reduce their carbon footprint. The employees that stick around are excellent at their work, and enjoyable to work with. The company is not afraid to innovate and look into new ways to help customers. The custom software development has been a huge help in most areas, and hopefully will continue to improve.

For the last 2+ years there has been little to no sales strategy, combined with poor sales leadership. This has led to a significant decrease in business and has required ownership to reduce staffing to such a small size that I'm concerned they may not be able to recover as they will need to then backfill nearly all positions with new people. Being in a fairly niche market and much of the software used being custom made, finding people with the knowledge to take off form day 1 is not possible and will require extensive training. The custom software developed has been very good in many ways, but the last 2 years saw a focus on software for one area that frankly was not good and did not function they way it should.

The employees were very talented and great people to work with. Unfortunately management does not know how to lead and does not support the team with the resources necessary to be successful.

Management values software and the products more than the team members. Out of touch with reality in regards to sales and unwilling to invest in people or resources for success. Management is always chasing the new shiny object without systems in place to execute. The vision and strategy for the company is overpromised and never delivered on.
