- Webflow is generally divided into two groups: one group doesn't like growth and hates competition (internally and externally). They love Webflow as is and are not looking for career progression if it means working harder. The other group wants the business to grow and is willing to put in more effort to make it happen (especially recent new hires). Naturally, you see more work being picked up by the latter but unfortunately, they are not being rewarded with salary raises or promotions. Rinse and repeat, you get a growing population in the first group. - Vlad the CEO is trying to reinvent the company and operate more efficiently. It was met with strong resistance, as part of Vlad's new policy involves cutting the $600 monthly stipend (for groceries and stuff) to $300. People (mostly the first group I mentioned above) are sad, hurt, and feel abandoned, and betrayed. - Webflow 2.0 is a watershed. We either get through this and reinvent ourselves and claim market leadership, or we retreat and go back to 1.0. Only time would tell.
