Unfortunately this workplace is run by poor management which results in inadequate leadership, and a lack of foresight. The company's regional CEO turnover rate is alarming (once a year), suggesting a lack of stability, which is also the leading factor of previous restructuring and layoffs that came without clear justification. Unfortunately that results in a worse company dynamics and culture in the last few years. The leadership team, composed of a few individuals with dated mindsets and self-serving agendas, is ill-suited to guide the company into the future. they set up outdated and inflexible guidelines which demonstrate a low level of emotional intelligence. Furthermore, it offers limited growth opportunities for mid-to-low level employees, making it a stagnant and unfulfilling place to work. While I understand that Wella may have a unique "hairdresser culture," the company's deviation from this type of culture results in a significant lack of professional and data-driven talent and methodologies. The workplace atmosphere often feels more like a local direct sales organization than a multinational corporation that is supposed to be inclusive and aspiring. This cultural mismatch can hinder progress, innovation, and the overall professional development of employees.

As someone who is recently new, there’s plenty of opportunities to participate in employee benefits such as gym discounts, health/ wellness discounts and of course, the fan favorite, Wella products! The US team cares for their employees and gives us half days for Summer Fridays, also a huge benefits and makes working at Wella fun.

Not much to say here except the work can get hectic at times depending on busy season for launches- Holidays, Brand Partnerships/ Sponsorships, Seasonal launches, Etc.

Diversity. Field based employees are great.

Constant turnover in c suite. Constant new names in upper management and less roles in field. Direction and focus changes every 2 months. Less focus on long term business and targeting small door wins. Zero input from field. VP’s seem to operate in an authoritarian nature. Not soliciting any input but continue to firehose new kpi’s.
