There's not been very effective training/performance management of some senior leaders and there's still a few bullies/individuals who don't know how to manage or motivate a team. N.B. there is a very competent new COO in place who I think genuinely wants to fix this and some of the other problems - I hope she is successful Still quite a gap between where Wellcome want to be on EDI (especially for disability) and where they actually are. The HR/People team is behind the curve and this has made some of the issues with challenging senior leader behaviour, reasonable adjustments etc. worse. In some teams there's very limited progression opportunities.
