Prior to going private, before Covid, WestJet was a decent company to work for. Everyone was generally happy to be there because they had drunk the company Kool-aid but the reality was that the benefits weren't that great and the pay was only middling. The reason why it was great to work there was because of the flight benefits and the profit sharing.
