Vantaggi

The only pro is that they are in a very new and upcoming tech space. Other than that there is no other pro compared to other decently funded startups.

Svantaggi

It's a company of immature and egoistic bunch of youngsters. Everyone around is so proud to be a part of a company that is #2 in their space. Good job, the fact is there are only two firms in this space and the difference in revenue between them speaks for itself - 10X! These guys are doing around $12M ARR while the #1 company in their space clocked over $120M ARR last year, something they have no answers to. These guys are so proud to build a SaaS business out of India, they go talking around as if they are the pioneers in the space. Wake up and smell the coffee for Dell and Oracle mastered this model over 15 years back. The leadership, perhaps due to its incompetency or other unknown reasons, has vested too much power in a few old hands. It's great to groom and prepare youngsters for larger roles but the problem arises when s/he is the only face of your company, speaks non sense in every other forum, talks to new hires and prospective hires as if s/he is the only knowledgeable person around and most importantly plays politics to stay relevant. The only relevant career experience that 'erudite' individual has is that of 5 yrs at this company. Wonder if the top leadership is equally immature to see through this or that s/he has something on them. Loyalty is very important, no doubt, but mixing loyalty with professionalism is nothing less than suicide for a startup. If you notice their employee base, you wont find many well experienced professional with solid business experience from any standard established firm. Most of them appear to be rolling tin cans kicked down the road, from one fledgling startup to another. These guys can neither attract talent, nor retain them, partly because they dont have the patience and humility to listen and learn from experiences, and the rest due to their firm belief in the 'one-eyed king in a kingdom of blinds'.

Vantaggi

Whatfix is a great place to work if you enjoy a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The team is collaborative, driven, and supportive, and there are plenty of opportunities to take ownership and make a real impact.

Svantaggi

Pace can be intense, and priorities may shift as the company scales. Global collaboration across time zones can be challenging.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear your positive comments around the collaborative team, ownership opportunities, and the ability to create meaningful impact. We also appreciate your perspective on the pace and evolving priorities. As we continue to scale, agility and adaptability remain important, and we’ve put in place clearer goal-setting frameworks and regular alignment cadences to help teams navigate this effectively. On global collaboration, we understand that working across time zones can present challenges. Teams are encouraged to be mindful of this through better planning, async ways of working, and setting clear expectations to support balance. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Vantaggi

- top 10 percentile compensation, timely pay, straightforward PTO/leave policy - Decent benefits package, lunch provided, quick reimbursements, good per diem during travel - Some genuinely smart and talented coworkers who try their best despite blockers - Opportunity for international travel and exposure to premier enterprise clients in what is supposed to be a "fun to sell" space

Svantaggi

- The company has been bleeding VERY senior people with lots of institutional knowledge for the past year - Lots of customer churn: hypergrowth narrative is breaking and leadership is panicking and instituting reactive solutions - As a seller, expect the product to not work 70% of the time but be held responsible for it - New joiners are given zero relevant training. You'll be put through hours of product knowledge sessions from "sales enablement" but zero help on anything that matters, such as navigating the illogical CRM + CLM -the internal politics and processes to get anything approved and general apathy that seems to be infiltrating the company. Expect chasing 10 people for one simple task and it being backlogged due to layoffs/understaffing in key teams such as RD and Bids - most are waiting for the next layoff or ridiculous policy change with offers in hand (much better packages as well) - drastically worsening micromanagement, draconian HR/WFO policies treating employees like schoolchildren, resulting in a general culture of fear/compliance - expect to spend more time on admin and writing reports + powerpoints than anything else - no psychological safety to disagree with leadership: only one person's word goes in the sales org. - one race/culture dominates Two paths: company to push forward for an IPO in 2027, or layoff half the company if/when it fails.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback and for recognizing aspects such as compensation, benefits, and the quality of your colleagues. We’re proud to have built a team of talented individuals and to provide opportunities for global exposure. We also want to address the concerns you’ve raised. Over the past year, like many companies operating in a rapidly evolving technology landscape, we have gone through periods of transition. Changes in leadership and team structure are part of scaling a global business, and while we have seen movement at senior levels, we continue to bring in experienced talent to support our next phase of growth. On customer retention and market dynamics: the digital adoption space is evolving quickly, particularly with the rise of AI. We are actively investing in our platform and strategy to stay ahead of these shifts. While challenges exist, as they do in any SaaS business—we remain focused on delivering long-term value to our customers rather than reacting to short-term fluctuations. Our product and engineering teams are committed to deliver high quality products and we are always working towards ensuring that our customers get the best in class experience. Any challenges or issues are addressed on priority and our customer feedback is a testimony to that. Regarding culture and ways of working: we want to be clear that Whatfix does not support an environment of fear, bias, or exclusion. We are committed to building an inclusive and respectful workplace, and any concerns in this area are taken seriously. At the same time, as we scale, we continue to evolve our policies to balance flexibility, collaboration, and accountability. We also encourage open dialogue and constructive disagreement. While alignment is critical in a fast-moving organization, we recognize that innovation depends on diverse perspectives and candid conversations, and we are working to strengthen that culture across teams. Finally, we want to address speculation around the company’s future. Whatfix is focused on building a sustainable, high-growth business with a long-term vision. We do not operate based on extremes, but on deliberate planning, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement. We appreciate your feedback and hope this response helps you get better clarity.
