Highly Political - Recensione dipendente - Manager presso Williams

This is the most highly political company I've ever worked for. And when I say "political" I mean it! I was asked by my director last week if I was going to the Trump rally. I didn't want to answer but was pressed. I finally told him that if I were to go, I would be going to express my first amendment rights to peacefully protest Trump. Not only did the director become irate and say I can't do that, but he told me I would be fired if I did so. I followed up with HR and they wouldn't say that I would or wouldn't be fired, but said that I could be terminated if I did anything that reflected poorly upon the company. I am shocked and am now accepted I have to look for a new job.
