3yThank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We understand that a certain amount of turnover is to be expected, and high levels of turnover following the COVID-19 pandemic was not uncommon among many different industries and companies. We are happy to see that our overall turnover rate has decreased by 6.5% from 2021 which means things are settling down in the war for talent.
We are happy that you enjoyed the team you currently work with. One way we strive for a positive culture is through our Purpose (engineering sustainable communities) and our Core Values (including but not limited to: encouraging diverse perspectives, communicating no matter what, and owning the outcome). However, we understand there is always room for improvement and do not take feedback from our teammates lightly. We conduct bi-annual engagement surveys, and our latest survey showed a 5-point increase in engagement across the organization with an increase in all 17 drivers.
In response to your comments regarding some of our operational procedures, similar to other building engineering consulting firms, we do have checks and balances in place to help our teams stay productive and profitable however they are not as restrictive as described. We’re open to working with our teams on how to achieve their targets so we can all achieve our goals as an organization. In terms of training, if you are current employee, we encourage you to contact your manager or HR to understand the hours and budget Williams provides all of its employees for training and development.
