Day-to-day tasks were made lighter just by being surrounded by colleagues who were collaborative, approachable, and willing to help each other out. On top of that, there was a sense of optimism when the company started rolling out new systems, like a fresh CRM and other platforms. It felt, at least for a while, like a step in the right direction—an attempt to modernize and improve efficiency.

Unfortunately, those bright spots were dimmed by deeper issues that impacted morale and stability. One of the most frustrating parts of working there was the lack of communication from upper management. Feedback was rare, performance reviews were inconsistent, and many people found themselves unsure of where they stood. Then, without warning, layoffs would happen—no heads-up, no performance discussions, just a sudden and unsettling goodbye. It created a culture of uncertainty where even strong performers felt vulnerable. On top of that, those system upgrades that had seemed promising quickly turned into chaos. The company was severely understaffed, and that made it nearly impossible to implement major changes effectively. Instead of improving operations, the transitions often caused more confusion and extra strain on the already stretched team. It became clear that while there were good people working hard on the ground, the leadership and resourcing gaps made it difficult for the company to live up to its potential.
