Vantaggi
*Family oriented environment in which the company take considerations when an employee need to be off for family events, family emergencies, school functions. An employee can take A sick day off without requirement for a medical certificate for proof of sickness. * HMO Medical Insurance premium is paid by the company and allows up to 2 dependents (new employees) or 4/6 dependents (for those pioneer employees). Note: an employee and the other dependent beneficiaries has to be an active Philhealth member to enjoy fully this benefit. Does not include pregnancy related coverage though. * The company could be a good training ground to those starting their career.
Svantaggi
* Regular performance review and appraisal is not practice here. * In my experience one has to apply for higher position in order to get some salary advancement and has to clarify the benefits change when applying for the said position as it could be considered as a lateral transfer and there would not be any salary/ benefits advancement at all. * No retirement plan for employees (This is not government mandate here in PH, but is a norm on most private companies.) * Salary can at times be delayed.
