      Most of the coworkers (85%) are really nice and smart The office and location are great Free snacks and unlimited coffee (feel free to overdo it, as many do)

      Engineers must do 10 hours of overtime weekly. Those who stick to contract hours are frowned upon. Friends of founders (Class A) are untouchable, no matter their mistakes. Regular employees (Class B) are often demoted, criticized, and fired. Over 15 have been fired this year, some without reason. Engineering is amateurish with no documentation. "Agile" means nothing works. The company wastes money on Class A pet projects, risking R&D.

      - Talented and supportive colleagues with deep expertise and a willingness to share knowledge. - Exposure to interesting challenges, and the tech is genuinely industry-leading.

      - Leadership lacked strategic vision, leading to reactive planning and disorganized day-to-day operations. The work environment often felt chaotic, with no clear direction. - Persistent micromanagement undermined autonomy and derailed sound professional judgement. - Being heard and respected was especially difficult without fitting into a narrow mold. When I raised concerns, It was repeatedly implied that I was a poor "culture fit" and not suited for working at a scale-up. I absolutely don't agree with this. But, even if this is true, I don’t think it invalidates my points above.
