You'll see a review from the CEO on here saying that they play hard and work hard. Trying to justify the real reviews from former members of staff as they 'just can't satisfy everyone'. The fact is that it's a toxic environment across the business. The whole business is built on bad processes and ways of working. It is focused around the sales team, they are desperate to make sales, and who love to tell everyone about their amazing commission they will receive. The reality results in unsustainable promises made to clients and ends up constantly undermining all the operations departments if these unreasonable promises are not kept. From downright shouting to deliberately not completely tasks expected of them as a form of punishment to operations The culture is toxic in many ways from rigid rules for some. Unless you suck up to the CEO then you can get away with anything you like. They are happy to shout and argue until the other capitulates. Even if it's objectively incorrect. Systems are not suitable for the business but suggesting alternatives or improvements are frowned on. The whole play hard part is true, they do like to have a party every quarter, during my tenure they happily stole a deck chair from a bar and bringing back to the office like a trophy of their party hard toxic lad culture.
