Vantaggi
Massive global organisation, maintaining great ethics, considering the size. Mostly good leadership, some exceptional leaders, very few duds and those would typically not last for long. Low turnover for the most part, meaning no need to keep on familiarising yourself with new stakeholders over and over again. A lot of highly committed people, with great sense of ownership.
Svantaggi
Some cultural differences, especially when collaborating with colleagues over in India, specifically, per my experience the hierarchical structures are very strict, and that can translate as a complete lack of initiative from junior employees, who look to their managers for guidance on even the most basic tasks. However, we were on an assignment for a client with a much flatter structure which made it challenging to navigate at times. As the company is relatively new in EMEA markets, I also felt at times that they were bending over backwards to accommodate the client even when the demands were unrealistic. It did make the client heavily reliant on our team though, which guaranteed job security. Being new in EMEA also meant they went for the absolute legal minimum for all benefits, making the role not very competitive. This has been improving in later years though. Career development is also limited to the client requirements, which is just the name of the game in this space.
