There was an excellent vibe about the place early on but this slowly diminished and then abruptly vanished once new management came in and talented people ran for the door. I did get to work on several great, impactful projects but then just became heavily involved in pitches and other non-billable work which the Wipro mothership has 0 interest in. All the pros are now in the past though, there is nothing left and this "company" which was fake all along and exists in name only. Entire teams have been laid off or absorbed into the mothership.

This was basically a 5-year experiment that that failed. Wipro has unrealistic expectations around utilisation - which is the only key metric they care about. They don't care about the effort/struggle you've been through to win business - which is tough when you're amongst some of the most expensive resources they have (being an Indian company, where the quantity of cheap labour over quality is king). If you are less than 80% billable every quarter then basically you are fair game to be laid off at any moment. They might hire you for an immediate need they have but as soon as that project ends your job security is gone. Buildit is just a carrot to lure talented people in to fix a specific problem (because you'd have to have a screw loose to want to work for Wipro!) This is highly likely to be working on a product that Wipro has messed up OR will later mess up after it gets offshored. They may offer a good salary but your career is guaranteed to suffer in the long run.
