*Uncaring attitude towards employees *Requires you to maintain average 9.5 hours per week in office, even if you are on the bench or in between projects. *Meaningless appraisal process. Too many objectives which even superman will not be able to meet. Ratings are simply dependent on your manager's impression of you. *Very few technical trainings. Not a company where you will gain new skills. *Low salary while on site. Difficult for married employees to save money if taking family abroad. *Devious and scheming managers who will go to any extent to get what they want, including dishonesty. *Sometimes there may be deputation to a project or to customer site for technologies which you have never worked on. You are expected to learn on the job without any training. *Technical skills are underrated while managerial skills are overrated, hence slower growth in technical line. *All policies are made to prevent dishonest activities by some bad employees, due to which everyone including good employees have to undergo extra scrutiny for everything *Nothing is free for employee. There are no pros to working for Wipro.

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
