Lots of bureaucracy and decision by committee (layers of them) that its really hard to get things done quickly.

Morale is not good - Revolut constantly being raised in conversations as what used to be a near-peer competitor that is now ahead and pulling away.
The recognition for impact is inconsistent and since the pay is not competitive with peers, its common to hear people being quite honest with their lack of motivation to do much more.
Largest signal of impact is size of team so teams are incentivised to grow in size.
