The real issue lies in Taiwan's overall industry culture. Communication between different generations still needs significant improvement. In R&D departments, there’s a heavy emphasis on working hours. Engineers are expected to regularly track the hours they invest in each project. As a result, business group (BG) leaders tend to focus more on short-term strategies and profits, making it difficult for them to take a long-term perspective.
