Vantaggi

Great, committed staff. Most colleagues. TRY to do the right thing, but always fail to do so. Decent pay and benefits.

Svantaggi

CEO is toxic and known for yelling at people, talking down to people, throwing people out of her office, and cussing. Her paycheck is priority to her which is why she cares about raising money - not for families. Senior staff continuously get bonuses and annual raises (check the 990s) while site staff are mostly the ones who struggle to get fair pay. Executive Office staff have decent salaries, but also don't get raises or even COLA. They act like they care, but behind closed doors they only care about lining their pockets. Even when you hit your metrics it doesn't matter because nothing is ever good enough. SVP of Development is also problematic in that they are very unclear with direction, unforgiving of questions to get clearer direction, and being that they were new, not able to integrate to the way things had been done for years. Inability to adapt and created a lot of confusion.

Vantaggi

Decent pay and time off

Svantaggi

WIN does not care about its employees. I was assaulted on shift and WIN refused to share camera footage with me or the police. I filed for workers comp so I could go to therapy and they fired me shortly afterwards. The building I worked at had a shooting in the lobby and people would overdose in the stairs. The clients/tenants are nasty and rude to the employees. One of the superintendents committed suicide in his apartment. Managers will rarely checked on the building, and the employees at our sister site up the block were afraid to cover our building shifts. The family shelter sites run out of cribs, while upper management throws Gala’s and celebrates their “success” Do not work here if you value your life
