I recently went through a very stressful situation at my workplace. I faced harassment from certain people in HR/management. When I tried to defend myself, instead of addressing the issue properly, the company made false allegations against me. There was no proper investigation, no chance to present my side, and no internal committee involvement. After the false claims, I was pressured into resignation / forcefully terminated. I feel completely helpless because I did nothing wrong, and the entire process felt pre-decided and biased. I’m mentally drained and unsure how to move forward. Has anyone gone through something similar? • Is this even legal in India? • Can a company force a resignation based on unproven allegations? • Is there any organisation or authority I can report this to? • What steps should I take now? Any guidance or support would mean a lot. I don’t want anyone else to go through this.
