Poor Product Quality: Despite a promising concept, the actual product is plagued with issues—it's sluggish, unreliable, and lacks user-friendliness. It often requires professional services for configuration, and persistent data problems result in constant 'firefighting' situations. Overloaded Backlog: The company struggles to keep up with an overwhelming backlog of features, both for enhancements and new additions. There's a severe shortage of developers, product managers, and designers to tackle these requests, yet everything is treated as a top priority with no clear hierarchy. Unfulfilled Promises: Executives and salespeople consistently make promises to customers about features that aren't developed until months or even years later, causing misalignment and frustration for both customers and internal teams. Lack of Alignment: A disconnect between executives, sales, and product managers forces rushed and suboptimal product designs, putting undue pressure on engineers and compromising product quality. Incompetence and Inefficiency: Some employees lack knowledge about the product they're selling and exhibit rude and disrespectful behavior.
