They don't practice what they preach. Upper management does not respond to new ideas and certainly does not reward successful behaviors.

First, thank you for your 6 years of commitment and contribution to the company. You saw extraordinary growth in the company and I’m certain you were an important part of that trajectory. All feedback is important to us and I am disappointed to hear you did not feel our company rewards those who are deserving. I would respectfully disagree given the positive feedback we consistently hear, specific to this topic, from employees in our annual anonymous surveys. We'd also note that while recognition awards are an important part of our Total Rewards philosophy and are reflected in employees' Total Rewards statements, they are separate from base salary and bonus compensation.
