This is a great place to start your career in PR, providing you can handle being thrown in at the deep end. When you leave and look back on the variety of client campaigns you've delivered, you'll feel quite amazed. You'll learn a lot in a short space of time, and are trusted to come up with solutions to problems, despite only being entry level. I don't think many other organisations give you the responsibility you get here. Also, being a small and nimble agency, you have to respond quickly to emerging trends, always staying ahead of your clients, this is exciting and will suit someone that is frustrated by red tape and drawn out approval processes. Despite everyone regularly being under a lot of pressure, there is a young and fun company culture in which people feel supported. Working closely with senior members of the team means you learn quickly and you do feel that as an agency, you are producing great work to be proud of. Also, they have a good vision for the future, I believe Working Word will keep getting better.

The workload is heavy. You very rarely, if ever, get downtime during the working day. You will either work, or be thinking about work, during evenings and weekends. This is particularly true if you work on short term campaigns, clients can be demanding and everything has to be done yesterday. This can lead to burnout. But when the hard work pays off, you are riding high!

They were all very friendly, and they were ready to teach me along the process, and really gave me useful experience for full time work.

Nothing too bad, didn't know what work to give me the first 2 days, but after that it was much better.
