The agenda is so diverse - from macro-economics and international finance to infrastructure to human development to climate change, etc. you work on a wide array of assignments and programs in the course of your career.

Constant budget challenges and seemingly never-ending pressure from the Board to do more with less and less. The is a tendency to take on too many new initiatives without dropping anything - leading to over-programming and over-stretching of resources (human and financial).
