Vantaggi
Xerox (formerly ACS) has an IT shared services model that is mid-tier, yet remains competitive against the big players but is getting squeezed by the public cloud offerings (Azure, AWS etc). With thin margins, good customer service is key to keep within razor thin margins...Xerox has solid customer base with some big named corporations with global support needs. They execute solid business processes and promote an ITIL services model.
Svantaggi
Offered a position of leadership with good benefits and a bonus program a year ago. Soon discovered no bonuses have been paid out in a number of years, not to mention merits or raises. Even internal promotions often come without pay increases. The company is a IT sweat shop that drives its employees to work ridiculous hours with little relief never saying "no" to the customer. Turnover is high at all levels making it difficult to drive change. Employees that have not left are typically not motivated for some reason to better themselves. I guess for those who remain the adage "misery loves company" holds true and the morale is typically at the "misery" level. Unless there's just nothing else better out there for you, then it is better than unemployment...but if you have options, look hard at those first.
