•management verbally abuse and yelling at their workers. Very disrespectful • zero transparency in management and NO guidance. They set the worker to fail .When mistake is made, management blame on you. • dose not listen to the worker's need • very high turn over rate • no room to growth, dose not learn any new skill • management dose not understand worker workload and overtime dose not get pay. • workload is heavy and Cant not be done. •working in YDG is very frustrated. AVIOD!!

Leadership does do things that show they care. We went fully remote before the height of the pandemic, even before official cdc guidelines, and have been remote since. There have been 2-3 'fun' activities: meeting in the park, getting shipped a succulent kit and getting together virtually to grow it, chocolate tasting, etc. in the marketing department. Good PTO. Customer Service do not always get the days off but they do get 8 hours holiday pay, which is nice. Very good work life balance. I have always been free to take time off, even on 1+week vacations. I am hourly, and my manager has made it clear I will never be contacted outside work hours. I have been here a while and after you earn trust, you're basically left alone to do your work (in the good way). There are crunch times, especially around Black Friday, but I have never felt overworked for too long. There is a voluntary Diversity Equity & Inclusion council comprised of many people across the company, including customer service reps, specialists, managers, and VPs. I would say this company is actually trying to be inclusive.

Svantaggi

Advancement opportunities are pretty slow. Raises are basically 3% per year, increasing very little regardless of how well you do. It's discouraging to see this especially after us making record profits during covid, with leadership congratulating and thanking everyone during the company wide town halls. Personal advancement is something they say they will support if you come up with the plans yourself, but there is no formal process to learn new skills. It feels like the best people are leaving.
