Typical early-stage startup - operating lean

Team was amazing, it felt like a family. Strong collaboration, hard hitting ideas, and a core mission to bring a product to the people that we've all been waiting for.

After the CEO (founder) left, things went down hill VERY fast. New CTO scrapped the 4-month-old app (2 weeks before a shareholder meeting) for a react native version. Oh, and the team, scrapped too. If you weren't with the CTO's vision, then you weren't with the company (even if you helped formed what the company is). I poured all my avaliable hours and more into that company, just for an 8 hour notice that my role will be gone the next day. Goodbye celebration was nice, showed how much I meant to the team, too bad money meant more.
