3yThank you for your feedback. We'd like to comment on some of your remarks.
You are correct that we look to hire experienced people, usually with at least three to five years of experience. Our clients hire us for exactly this reason.
It is also true that we provide all our staff with laptop computers, plus an annual stipend to outfit their home work environment. We ordered equipment and offered this stipend after the pandemic forced us to change our business model. Before that, we performed almost all our work at our client's offices, and providing equipment for staff to work remotely was unnecessary.
Regarding the time we bill our clients: if our work at a client is taking significantly longer than expected, we work with our staff to see what might be done to assist them. We try to do this in a supportive way and never condone staff to record fewer hours than they actually work. I am sorry if you felt otherwise.
You are correct that we can not add "CPA" to our signatures or business cards. This is not our choice; we are not a CPA firm. Regarding the title "Associate" that many of our staff members hold, we do this to keep the organizational hierarchy flat and avoid artificial distinctions one might find at other firms. This structure helps prevent office politics and competition found elsewhere from contention over titles. It also allows our staff to be recognized based on their skills and abilities, not their titles or years of service.
Thank you.
